A velvety, ruby red wine with a dark berry aroma.

Bottled mid December 2021. Unfiltered.

Alcohol percentage: 14 % vol.
suggested drinking temperature: 16°C - 19°C

Variety: Blaufränkisch. Red wine. Organic.

Terroir: The roots of the old grape vines we use to make our wine are well spread in the earth and soil, thus being able to reach natural minerals and nutrients. Old grape vines indicate a particular high quality of the wine produced and point to stronger aromas.

Harvest period: between the 27th of September and the 10th of October 2018. Hand-harvested.

Cellar: No mechanical destemming machines used. Safely destemmed. Not pressed. The wine ferments for at least 4 weeks with the grape skins and seeds. Spontaneous fermentation. The wine spends months in a wine tank under wild yeast. No inhibition of the malolactic fermentation occurs.
